What You Can Do with Tasks
At a glance, Tasks let you:
β Create tasks for yourself or teammates
π Assign tasks and set details (title, category, due date, description)
π Link tasks to a pet or client (when relevant)
π Track progress (Active vs Completed)
βοΈ Complete or dismiss tasks when done
Creating a Task
Go to Notifications β Tasks
Click New Task (or the β button)
Fill in the basics:
Title: what needs doing
Category: whichever is applicable
Assign to: yourself or a teammate
Due date: optional
Description: add context or instructions
Link: to a pet/client if it helps the assignee act faster
Click Create
Pro tip: Keep titles short and action-oriented (e.g., βCall owner about refillβ). Use the Description for extra details.
Viewing, Filtering, and Sorting Tasks
In Notifications β Tasks, you can filter to focus on what matters most:
Assignee: me, a teammate, or anyone
Status: Active, Completed
Category: External Comms, Prescription
Due date: today, this week, overdue (if available)

Updating or Completing a Task
Click on a task to open its Task Details
Review Description, linked pet/client, and due date
When finished, click Complete
If the task is no longer needed, choose Dismiss (if enabled)
