How to Use the Pivot Tables to Cash up at the End of the Day

Cashing up, closing out, closing the register, and balancing the till are all terms that describe the process of counting all the money that has been received by a business at the end of the day. Lupa has tools for making this process as seamless as possible.

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a table that shows all payments taken in a single day, to do the cashing up.

  1. Go to the Analytics Page in the App Suite, and Enter the Table View, Then Click 'Create New Table' on the Top Pivot Table

2. Name Your New Table Something that Will Easily Make you Remember that the Table Corresponds to Cashing Up

Decide between giving the entire store access, or to keep the view personal, and make sure to set the data source as payments.

3. Select What Columns you Wish to Keep for the Table

We suggest to keep the table limited to the columns that actually are important to cashing up, our suggestion is: Client, Amount, Date, Status, Employee, Method.

4. Filter the date view by the current date, update for each date you cash up

5. Save the Table, and you Have an Easy Way to get Back to Cashing Up
