QR Codes for Products, Prescriptions, and Dosage Labels

Updated over 4 months ago

You can assign QR codes to products in two ways, either directly in your inventory or when creating a prescription. These QR codes can be used on prescription labels and dosage sheets for quick access to external resources (like instructions or product pages).

Set a QR Code on a Product in Inventory

  1. Go to Inventory from the main menu.

  2. Find the product you want to assign a QR code to.

  3. Click the Edit icon next to that product.

4. In the product details, find the QR code field (usually a URL field).

5. Paste the URL you’d like the QR code to point to.

6. Click Save the code will now appear automatically when this product is prescribed.

Set a QR Code When Prescribing a Product

  1. Navigate to create a prescription (from the appointment page or directly).

  2. In the prescription window, look for the QR code field or URL input field.

  3. Paste the URL you'd like to link to.

  4. Lupa will automatically generate the QR code and include it on the dosage label or prescription.

This is how dosage labels and prescriptions will look with QR codes. Simple, scannable, and professional.
