1. Adding a prescription
1.1. Open up an appointment full view, and scroll down to the Plan & Invoicing section. Click Add Product and fill in the name of the product you want to prescribe. To add a prescription, click the Prescription icon to the right of the product name.
1.2. Click Create new prescription to add a prescription or choose an existing prescription and click Refill to renew it.
1.3. Fill in the prescription information and add any notes. Then click Save to add the prescription to the record. You can print a dosage label or written prescription at this stage.
1.4. After you have added the prescription, it will appear under the Plan & Invoicing section. You can also print off the label by clicking Print next to the prescription name.
2. Seeing and refilling previous prescriptions
2.1. Prescriptions will appear on the pet's medical highlights page across Lupa.
2.2. To refill a prescription, scroll down to the Plan & Invoicing section of a full appointment window and click on the Prescription icon next to the product.
2.3. Then click Authorise to authorise a refill. You can add this to the invoice by clicking Add to Invoice. After you click Add refill, the refill will be saved and added to the system. When dispensing a medication, you automatically draw from the permitted refills.
