How To Manage Stock Across Multiple Locations

Location Based Stock Control

Lupa supports multi-location stock control, making it easy to track inventory across different stock locations within your clinic or across multiple sites.

​Creating a New Stock Location

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Under the Inventory section, select Stock Locations.

Each store has a default stock location which cannot be deleted but can be renamed.

3. Click Create Location in the top-right corner.

4. Enter a name for the new stock location and click Save.

Setting Stock Levels for a New Location

  1. Go to the Lupa Apps section at the top of the screen and open Inventory.

  2. Select a product and click the Edit button on the right-hand side.

  3. Make sure Stock Control Enabled is toggled on.

4. Adjust the stock quantities for each available location.

If the product requires batch tracking, toggle Batches on and add batch details for each location.

Changing a Stock Location on an Invoice

If a product has stock tracking enabled:

  • When you add the product to an invoice, a dropdown menu will appear next to the item.

  • Use the dropdown to select the appropriate stock location for that product.


With location based stock control, you can maintain accurate inventory records across your entire business and ensure that product availability is always up to date no matter where it's stored.
