How to View and Edit Appointment Information: Pet Timeline, Documents, and Diagnostics

Learn how to access and manage medical records, upload documents, and request diagnostic tests from within an appointment

From the full view of any appointment, Lupa makes it easy to review the pet’s medical history, add files or forms, and manage diagnostic tests. Follow the steps below to work with each of these features.


Step 1: View the Pet Timeline

  1. Open the appointment and click View Full Appointment.

  2. Scroll down to the Pet Timeline section to see the pet’s full medical history, including:

    • Appointments

    • Diagnostic test results

    • Reminders

    • Medical records

    • Treatment plans

    • Prescriptions

    • Invoices

    • Notes

3. Use the filter options to narrow down what types of records you'd like to view.


​4. Click the Compact/Expanded toggle in the top-right corner of the timeline to change the view:

  • Compact view shows icons next to dates, each representing a type of event.

  • Expanded view displays each event in detail.


  • Expanded view displays each event in detail.

5. Use the search bar to look for specific records.

6. Click Download PDF to export the medical history. You can choose which types of events to include in the file.

Click Download PDF to download the pet medical history, filter by the events you'd like to see.



Step 2: Manage Pet Documents

  1. Continue scrolling to find the Documents section. This area includes all uploaded images, PDFs, and consent forms linked to the pet.


2. Click Edit in the top-right corner of the section.

3. Upload documents by dragging and dropping files or using the upload button.

4. To add a consent form:

  • Click Add Consent Form.

  • Use Insert Template to pre-fill the form if needed.

  • Click Save to store the form in the system.

Step 3: Request and Review Diagnostic Tests

  1. In the Diagnostic Tests section, you can view previous test results and request new tests.

  2. To request a new test, click Order Test, then fill in the required details.

  3. Once results are available, they will appear in this section for easy access and review.
