Lupa makes it easy to take and manage notes during an appointment. You can use Jerry, our AI consult assistant, to transcribe or summarise consultations, or manually enter your notes. This guide will walk you through both methods.
Using AI to Record and Summarise Notes
Open the appointment from your calendar and click View Full Appointment.
On the right-hand side under Appointment Notes, click Start Transcript under AI Consult Summary.
(Optional) Click Choose a Template if you’d like Jerry to follow a predefined structure.
Use the recording panel to pause, resume, or cancel the recording. When you're done, click Summarise to save it.
Once saved, click Open Booking to review or update the notes.
Your summary will appear under Appointment Notes, where you can make further edits if needed.
Viewing and Manually Editing Notes
From your calendar, select the appointment and click View Full Appointment.
Click the Templates button to use a pre-written template. [Learn how to edit templates here.]
In the Appointment Notes section, you can type directly into the notes field
Use the Full Screen icon to expand the note editor, and click again to minimise it when you're done.
