Credit notes allow you to correct invoices or issue refunds with a clear financial record. Here’s how to create and manage them in Lupa:

1. Navigate to the Client Page

Begin by going to the client’s profile.

2. Create a Credit Note

Click the "Create" button in the top-right corner of the client page, then select "Credit Note" from the dropdown.

3. Select a Reason

Choose a reason for issuing the credit note from the provided list, then click "Create Credit Note."

4. Fill in the Credit Note Details

A new window will open. Here, you can:

  • Enter the reason for the credit

  • Specify the amount to be credited

5. Issue the Credit Note

Once complete, click "Issue Credit Note" to finalize it. This changes its status from Draft to Issued.

6. Managing the Credit Note

If needed, you can void the credit note by using the dropdown menu to change the status from Draft, Issued, or Void.


Issuing credit notes through the Transactions Table ensures accurate financial records while offering flexibility for adjustments.
